Amber Fessette, MSN, APRN, PMHNP

Amber Fessette brings a decade of psychiatric experience and a strong commitment to evidence-based, empathetic care. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the past three years, she focuses on empowering her patients through active listening and collaboration.

Amber strives to ensure every individual feels seen and supported in their journey, working together to build personalized treatment plans that promote autonomy and healing. She believes that mental health care is most effective when patients are informed, involved, and treated with compassion.

What Amber Loves About Telepsychiatry

Amber values how telepsychiatry expands access to care, especially for patients with demanding schedules or those living in rural communities. She appreciates being able to meet patients where they are—both literally and emotionally—to help remove barriers to treatment.

Philosophy & Inspiration

Amber was drawn to psychiatry through personal experiences, witnessing the profound impact mental illness can have on individuals and their families. Her desire to be part of the solution led her to pursue advanced education and clinical training in psychiatry.

She’s guided by the belief: “Self-compassion is simply giving the same kindness to ourselves that we would give to others.”

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Amber enjoys Pilates, hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with loved ones—including her dog, Lambo. These activities help her maintain a well-balanced lifestyle, which she encourages her patients to prioritize in their own lives.
